The Peoria Historical Society will present "A Passion for the Arts," a v intage style show, at Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Peoria. The bouti que opens at 10 a.m., the luncheon at 11:30 a.m., and the style show "A Pas sion for the Arts" at 12:30 p.m. Tickets $35, or $30 for members.
       The style show spotlights historic Peoria women active in the arts, portr ayed by Peoria-area women who are also actively involved. They'll wear vint age clothing and costumes appropriate to their eras. For example, members o f The Women's Symphony Guild, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, wi ll model ball gowns from their early days and showcase the puppeteers who'v e performed for so many school children through the years.  The show is als o a complement to "Skirting Convention" -- the show of Illinois women artis ts at Lakeview -- and the symposium at Bradley on Illinois Women Artists.
