Alzheimer’s Association Offers Presentation on Caregiver Stress |

The Alzheimer’s Association - Central Illinois Chapter will offer a program, “Perspectives on Caregiver Stress” on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Washington Public Library at Five Points, 380 N. Wilmore Road, Washington. This program is designed to examine the symptoms of caregiver stress and offer strategies towards becoming a healthier caregiver. Central Illinois Chapter Education Specialist Aubrey McShane will offer tips on setting realistic expectations for oneself and for the individual with Alzheimer’s disease. The program is open to the public and is funded, in part, by the Central Illinois Agency on Aging. Registration fee is $5 per person or $10 per family; registration deadline is February 22.
