Gertie’s Groundhog Outing schedule is as follows: 6:00am – Park opens with free admission! 6:15am – Educational presentation on the history of Groundhog’s Day by Park naturalists. 6:25am – Parade in honor of Gertie led by Grand Marshall, Mayor Winterroth 6:45am – Educational presentation on groundhogs. 6:50am – Proclamation by Mayor Winterroth 6:54am – “Wake-Up Gertie” Sing-a-long with Barry Cloyd 6:57am – Gertie’s Outing and Prognostication 7:00am – Program Closing and thank you with WPSP Board Members |
