Holiday open house at Kightlinger Antiques |

Kightlinger Antiques & Collectibles will host a holiday open house with the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17. Owner Jim Kightlinger has decorated the store at 8320 N. Jackson St. in Kickapoo, across from Ludy's, from floor to ceiling with 80 trees, more than 65,000 ornaments and 10,000 lights. It's the largest Christmas shop in central Illinois. Wine, refreshments and appetizers will be served. The event is open to the public. All decorations on display are for sale. There also is a wide variety of other holiday-inspired gifts, home accessories and antiques to give as presents this holiday season.
