Attract birds to you backyard |

The Peoria Park District's Forest Park Nature Center will have an "Attracting Birds to Your Backyard" presentation on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1:30 p.m. This presentation will give information to make your front or back yard appealing to many different kinds of birds. The various kinds of bird feeders, feeder placement, types of seed and suet mixes, and some general bird lore will be presented. Plus, take home a free sample of Forest Park's Special Mix birdseed. The event is free and open to the public, ages 12 and up. Donations are appreciated. For more information, please call the Nature Center, (309) 686-3360.
