Just in time for Halloween, the Junior League of Peoria presents "A Seven Corpse Dinner: Fangs for the Memories", an audience-interactive murder mystery event, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Ballance-Herschel House, 256 NE Randolph St. It is not a play, but rather a game. A cast of actors assumes character roles in a plot. The actors mingle with the guests through cocktails and dinner, having conversations with the guests and with each other. After dinner, a character will "die". An investigator character takes charge to question suspects and find the murderer, with the help of the audience. Guests may become as involved as they like, and are encouraged to invent their own roles and relationships to the cast.
