Perky Percussion will be the first of three Musical Discovery concerts for children, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Peoria Symphony Orchestra studio in the WTVP Building, State and Water streets in Peoria. Perky Percussion will feature Peoria Symphony Principal Percussionist Peggy Bonner and members of the PSO percussion section who will demonstrate a wide variety of instruments from the percussion family. Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults and may be purchased by calling (309) 671-1096 or visiting the PSO box office at 101 State Street in Peoria.
