An interview with Carl Cannon, one of the five finalists for the inaugural The Peorian of the Year Award.
We introduce the show's topic, The Peorian of the Year Award, and introduce Dr. Jasti Rao, one of the finalists for the award. We discuss his background and let viewers get to know him and the ELITE program and its importance to Peoria youth and the community as a whole. We also talk about the non-profit organization he wants to receive $10,000 from The Peorian should he be chosen to receive the award. Also included is Kevin Kizer's culinary and literary segment. This week he talks about another novel he read so the rest of us didn't have to.
